After years of planning and fundraising Southern Highlands Boys and Girls Club opened their doors to public on June 27. The Boys and Girls Club operates year-round with afterschool and summer programs for 6-18 year olds. The club is located on Southern Highlands Parkway and Shinnecock Hills Avenue and provides a wide variety of amenities including: a state-of-the-art Learning Center with Computer Lab, an Art Studio, a Teen Center with its own computer lab and media center, and a regulation-sized Gymnasium with hardwood floors and scoreboard. All ages can enjoy the Game Room with a multitude of offerings including foosball and pool. The secure outdoor play area is enhanced with a barbeque, while the kitchen will provide additional food services.
