Each year the Southern Highlands Charitable Foundation recognizes a member of the Las Vegas area that makes an impact on the local community.

The Philanthropist of the Year award goes to a person with a proven record of exceptional generosity, offers direct financial support, demonstrates outstanding civic and charitable responsibility as well as encourages others to become philanthropic leaders.
